Cookies are mentioned only once in the 88 pages of the Regulation, but those few lines have a significant impact on cookie compliance (Recital 30, referring to Art. 4(1)):
“Natural persons may be associated with online identifiers […] such as internet protocol addresses, cookie identifiers or other identifiers […]. This may leave traces which, in particular when combined with unique identifiers and other information received by the servers, may be used to create profiles of the natural persons and identify them.”
Tiberina Solutions Srl (data controller) uses on these web pages technologies that make use of “cookies”. This notice explains to the user, clearly and simply, how they are used.
Cookies are short pieces of text (letters and/or numbers) that allow the web server to store on the client (the browser) information to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even days afterwards (persistent cookies).
